Jennifer Dana Deane is an award-winning fine art and commercial photographer and author. An interest in history and ancient cultures has led Jennifer to research and photograph in over 12 European countries. Her photographs have been exhibited at the Naples Museum at the Philharmonic Center for the Arts and the Von Liebig Art Center. Jennifer's architectural photography has appeared in numerous books and magazines including Architectural Digest and Florida Architecture. In 2009, Jennifer authored, designed and photographed the children's book A is for...fruit A to Z, published by Sienna Books and available at Barnes and Noble. Additionally, she was the primary contracted photographer for a number of other books, including The Pistner House, Winds of Change, Chisel and a Brush and In Portrait, Naples and Collier County (Chapter: Architecture.)
Jennifer began her study of photography while attending Allegheny College in Meadville, Pennsylvania. With a B.A. in English from Allegheny, she went on to pursue a photography degree from the Southeast Center of Photographic Studies in Daytona Beach, Florida. In photography school, Jennifer received scholarships from companies such as Fuji Film USA and the Professional Photographers Association of America, as well as working as the Staff Photographer for Daytona State College and freelancing for United Press International. Immediately after graduating with highest honors, Jennifer was hired by the Walt Disney World Photography department to photograph advertising campaigns, celebrities, motion picture stills on sound stages and the architecture of new hotel properties. Currently, Jennifer works from her studio in Naples, Florida.
Through her travels abroad, Jennifer has created a large collection of stock imagery and stories from Italy, including Tuscany, Umbria, Liguria, Venice, and the Lake Region; France includng Paris, Languedoc, Provence, and the Cote d'Azur; Greece including Athens, and six islands; Istanbul; Prague; Portugal; and Spain including the Basque, Andalucia and Castilian regions.
